Somehow I missed the information about your husband’s transplant (haven’t been on the website in a few months). But I’m thrilled that he’s doing so well. My cousin’s husband had a stem cell transplant a year ago. It was very rough in the beginning (his first donor backed out). And, although there were many ups and downs in the first few months, he’s doing fantastically well! Every time I see him, I’m amazed at what can be accomplished today. I’m so very happy that John’s well on his way to feeling healthy as ever! Oh, and be sure to celebrate his “new” birthday, along with the original one!

Dear Marcella and John!
John, it was a shock to hear of Your health situation!
As You remember I had also blood disease (amyloidosis). I had chemo treatment, heart transplant and stem cell transplant almost six years ago. I am doing very well now having Jyrki beside me.
We are glad to hear the treatment You´ve had has been successful. We are sure that You and Marcella together are doing fine through this hard time.
All the best to You both!
